Prioritizing the Will of God
To prioritize the will of God means to surrender your will in exchange for God’s will and to choose God’s desires for your life above your own desires. God’s plans for your life are good. Choosing your own will and desires over God’s is costly. Our first example of laying down our own will and desires in exchange for God, was displayed on the cross. Christ serves as our example. Doing the will of God requires a daily and regular sacrifice of dying to our flesh and crucifying our own self-interests, desires and wants. Is God encouraging you to let go of something, surrender to His will or turn your heart back to Him?
